The Smith-Young Scholarship Awards 2017
Two awards were made this year, as follows:
Bethany Rae-McLean awarded £200 towards her swimming racing costume
Lily Taylor-Ward awarded £300 towards her MA degree in Musical Theatre
Bethany was presented with her award at a Club lunch on 15th May
We were delighted to welcome today 16 year old Bethany Rae-McLean to receive her Smith-Young scholarship award. Bethany is a future Olympic hopeful and will use the Award towards a new racing swimming costume.

Seven awards were made this year, as follows:
Katie Tew awarded £200 towards her Level 2 Swimmimg coaching.
Christopher Stray awarded £200 towards his Level 2 Swimmimg coaching.

Chloe Blaydon awarded £200 towards her swimming racing costume.
Millie Adamczyk awarded £200 towards an illustration tablet for her design course. Click HERE for her return visit
Those available to attend the Interact Club Charter evening at Novotel on 8th July received their awards then. Those not available at that time attended a Long Eaton Rotary Club lunch at The Risley Park the following Monday to receive their award.
